Huh? :confused:

The motherboard has an AGP 8X slot and the card is an AGP 8X card. It should run. Unless of course you somehow put a PCI-E card in an AGP slot.

This is from the AMD page on this board, the BOLD section confuses me.

Radeon™ X1650 Graphics Technology - GPU Specifications

Features

        * Dual-link DVI
        * Twelve pixel shader processors
        * Five vertex shader processors
        * 128-bit 4-channel DDR/DDR2/GDDR3 memory interface
        * Native PCI Express x16 bus interface
        * AGP 8x configurations also supported with AGP-PCI-E external bridge chip

        * Dynamic Voltage Control

Sp is it a PCI-express board that needs an adapter to run AGP (external bridge chip) or am I reading that wrong.

Either way , from the DXdiag report, it looks like its failing all the 3d tests. Either the motherboard isn't recognizing the new board, and defaults to onboard video,  or your DX 9 is corrupt and needs to be reinstalled.

As it says I exchanged it, and still having the same trouble. Still fails during the 3d draw test during the tests. I guess I'll just go back to my 9600xt. Thanks for all the help guys.
