Mic Issues
« on: November 05, 2007, 02:44:59 PM »
Hey peeps, looking for some mic help as I can't get the damn thing working. Have read and reread the FAQ/Help section, the mics selected, its muted, the boost is selected, turned down hardware acceleration(well tried turned down and off) yet when I press T I get the beep then no voice, when I press F12 I get no beep, have checked key maping and am stumped, it works fine in windows and has always worked in TS, would appreciate any ideas any ideas out there of what I'm missing?

No he wants that one muted. It mutes his voice in HIS playback so he doesn't hear HIS voice out of his speakers/headset WHILE he is speaking.

Have you tried it without teamspeak running? I seem to remember some people having trouble running both.

was going to try to see if he could hear himself on his headset. this would elimnate if the headset is broke or not

well he said the mic works in win recorder and TS, so we can assume the mic is good. Hes not complaining about "no sounds", and again TS worked so we can assume the speakers/headset works.

He gets the "beep" when transmitting so we can assume that he key is mapped right, that leave a game error (have you tried wave in setting in the sound?) or a conflict with the games sounds and his sound board.
