Stall Speeds (F4F)
« on: November 14, 2007, 01:07:22 AM »
I was flying the F4F-4 Wildcat in the DA about 3 minutes ago, and for some reason, my speed locked up at 80 mph.

I dove from 5k altitude to about 20 feet, the whole time my stall alarm buzzing and altimiter reading, 80mph.
Made the fight vs the hurricane quite, uhm, interesting to say the least.
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
