TRACKIR - new drivers ?
« on: November 12, 2007, 11:45:02 PM »
Been playing the game since October 2006
Purchased TRACKIR latest model and never had any problems.
Great tool to play ACES HIGH !

Question:
1. New release versions have come out. Should I download the new version ? I've read some threads that indicated that it brought other problems when playing the game... Why fix when all is working fine OR the new version will give me better performance ?

The model that I have is with the reflectors clipped to my baseball cap.
It darn hot when playing. NaturalPoint has come out with the clip-on to the head set.(side of head near hear) Anyone tried this one yet ?
Would love to get rid of hat !

Input anyone ?

Phil

I am using the latest drivers and have no issues.  As for the Track clip Pro i LOVE it!  Will never go back to the reflectors.

I have no  issues running the latest drivers with my TrackIR 3 Pro (with Vector add-on) under Windows XP Pro.

And I'm keeping the cap.  Where else could I mount my propellor?  ;)

Also using new drivers with no issues. I think they updated the profiles with this issue. Did a new down load from naturalpoint, after having to do a reformat because of other issues, and TIR is working great. Haven't tried that new clip, but put reflector clip on a visor will cool things down.
