Map Resets
« on: November 15, 2007, 06:47:37 PM »
In the Main Arenas there has been a shortage of "Natural Map Resets", meaning that no country has got the required 40% of enemy and retained atleast 90% of their own bases. As of late, HTC has been reseting the maps.

-Why has getting a map reset become extremely difficult as of late?
-What should be done?
-Is getting 40% of enemy bases asking too much?
-Is ENY preventing map resets?
-Should uncapturable bases be capturable?
-Are the 3 countries becoming more even?
-Furballs?
-Lack of bomber pilots?

What is it? :aok

-Why has getting a map reset become extremely difficult as of late?  Player density
-What should be done?  Nothing
-Is getting 40% of enemy bases asking too much? No
-Is ENY preventing map resets? No
-Should uncapturable bases be capturable?  Hell no
-Are the 3 countries becoming more even? Doubtful
-Furballs?  What about them? They are a great part of the game.
-Lack of bomber pilots?  No

Not sure why it should matter.  The newer folks might be used to "winning the war" every day or two, but it used to be a very, very rare thing.  If it becomes rare again, I see no earth-shaking problem with it.

#3: No, if you use teamplay, it is possible.
#4:No
#5:No, never
#6: Yes, in my opinion
#7: All over the place
#8: There havn't been as many heavy buff raids since big maps came back. I think it'll pick up again when things fall back into place
