The cyclic rate of the Mg-3 is the same as for the Mg-42 ... mind you the cyclic rate varies from gun to gun and depends on a lot of variables (lubrication, wear, temperature etc.). The Mg-3 is simply an Mg-42 with plastic in place of the wood parts, and chambered for the 7.62mm NATO raound.
