Thank you to all that showed up to fly with us and shoot at us; there was around 40 people on and we had a great time as usual.  We were a little short handed this evening due to some RL issues some of the guys had to take care of, but we ran the best sorties we could with 5 squaddies. We managed to get iron on target on the first bomber sortie, in spite of some stiff intercept.  The second and third bomber runs were pretty ugly from our vantage, but still a good time.  Hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did; see y'all on Monday.

Great time for all as I saw it. Thanks for those that played with us. Owe you a "sorry" duke. In retrospect, I can see how that may not have been an HO. Frustration got the better of me.
Good fights. Good time.

I came in late but was fun.  Never seen that many in the AvA and it made for some good fights.

The hosebags calling 2v1's "ganging" on 200 got a bit old. It was kind of funny seeing the guys that were whining about 2v1's cherry picking and doing the same thing they were complaining about.

More HOing than usual, but since okllok was on, I kind of expected it. ;)

IMO the Avengers coming in to AvA has been a good thing.

guys.

For the most part, the Avengers never came near the a24-a18 fight.  (save the 1st mission where 2 buffs managed to drop on a18 before dying)  They did try, bless their hearts.

I will admitt to dyin' to the guns of a bomber drone warping all over the sky as the main buff was 3k under it falling to the deck wingless.  I gota ask HiTech @ that.  That's just "wrong".

There were a couple "fun" ish moments.  Getting attacked by 3-4 of ya's w/ alt as I vectored in my squad to clean y'all up.  The p38 law darting 'cause they dont' know how to use the UP trim was "cute".  (second mission IIRC)

And the two ponies w/ alt going at me was "mildy" amusing.  I recall tellling TC to take his time comin' into that fight, as I was in no danger what so ever of getting shot.  (1st mission)

The 3rd mission with all single B26's was down right UGLY.

The LAST Avenger mission was the best.  Pure fighter sweep.  Pure slaughter.  They DID catch one of my new squaddies typin, so they managed one kill.  (and yes, he got teased hard about dyin' to y'all)

Lookin' back, I think we lost 3 people while smashing 4 Avenger missions.

Welcome to AcesHigh Avengers.

Heh, "sandbox", yeah that sounds about right.  Bragging is bragging, being able to "back it up" just makes it more sad that you have to do it in the first place.

Personally, I find false modesty more irritating.

Besides, it's my sandbox, at least I hope so...hate to think I been pooing in someone else's.:(

Sandbox is the Avengers own refrence.  (please try to keep up)

Apparently you have no clue as to who the Avengers are, their history, or they playing style.

I know quite a few players who were very pleased by the outcome of the Avengers squad night.  I had probably no less than 6 players private me extremely happy with what we did, and several more in the LW's before we went to the AvA.

I would ask that get at least a rough grasp of the subject matter at hand before you chime in.

Who the Avengers are, what there playing style or interests are, is irrelevant.  I was responding to your post, which I suspect reflects your true character.  I thought some of the other AvA "regulars" had big egos, but you got them beat hands down.
