Have you tried an 8x.xx version video driver?

Do you shut down AVG before starting the game?

What in-game "Video Settings" are you using?

Have you reduced the hardware sound accleration?  Checked for sound card driver updates?

tried all drivers but i tried 84.21 81.95 out of the 8 tried a few 7 and 9
avg on off it still hangs
 1024 780 85hz
unlimited fps 512cache
preload sys mem

hardware vertex checked along with optimize tereain and objects

slidder raised faster than default

but i do leave avg and windows update on

i checked further it does the same hangs on il2 ond ah offline

auto-updater could be doing it. I don't know how often they check for up dates, but it will pull cpu usage to look.

just ried it still locking

also locks playing other flight sims"ie: il2/ pac fighters"

using the system tool i seen this in conflicts could it be the prob?

if so how do i fix it

I used to have a random lockup problem when I was running a 6800GT OC. I finnally solved the problem by turning down the clock speed on the video memory.

As long as there are no high data bandwidth devices connected to your USB ports, you should be fine.  I would avoid using a USB headset with that configuration though.
