Maverick, that's almost (but not entirely) inaccurate.

It's all new, think prequel/sidequel.  It's the story of what happened to the Pegasus.  There's maybe 30-45 seconds of re-used footage.  

It's pretty good, the classic BSG stuff was awesome.

I only now watched the miniseries, joined into one. I didn't bother to watch couple of minutes every now and then and forgot about it. Had doubts about the series as well. Now, afterwards, I'm looking towards the series.

Thought the centurions looked a tad dodgy in the cockpit shot...needed costumes not CGI, but the raiders were excellent
