Candy posing as Cocaine

I'm sure the customers will be pleased when they get a nose full of mint.

Yes, Halloween will be loads of fun next year.

Pretty dumb idea there. :huh
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

“What happens when these drug dealers start unsealing these and putting their cocaine in them and leave them around and a kid goes, ‘Hey, there's one of those Ice Breakers,’ and puts a packet of powder cocaine in their mouth?”

Listening to old Eric Clapton songs would be a dead giveaway.

Let's see if I have this right.  Devil's advocate: Hershey is doing something wrong?  What's wrong with packaging their product any way they see fit?  Are they violating trademark standards or something?  Who is in charge of that?  Why would it be hard for the police to be able to tell the difference?  I mean, they're police, they should know or if they don't they should find out a way to tell the difference.  I don't mean to sound disrespectful but it is their job.

The bigger question, Leslie, when you think about it, is why haven't drug dealers been packaging their cocaine in pixy-stick straws for years.

Because it doesn't make sense Neubob.  I wouldn't be surprised if someone was watching for that and would catch that without much trouble if they suspected it.

How exactly would they watch for it? And even if they were watching for it, how would they go about confiscating it without opening millions of innocent pixy sticks--thus wasting money, manpower and public confidence?

The point is that complaining about the packaging of this candy is somewhat pointless given that the market it already full of products that can be used to disguise the contraband. Hell, if I were a coke dealer I'd just press my stuff into tablets and sell it as Vitamin C (no pun intended).

I just fail to see how a coke dealer will drop his lively hood on the ground and some kid eats it... the coke head maybe but even then hes to worried about snorting every last particle.

No drug dealer vacuum seals all 4 sides of their 20 bags. They don't look anything like bagged-for-sale coke.

I think that that quarrel was pretty silly--a longshot at best. Most likely, cops would be more inconvenienced by having to learn to distinguish between harmless candy and the cocaine.
