Like the F15 video but there must be better ones than that showing the vertical climb.

I was at an airshow here in Ireland in the eighties. Four USAFE F15's displayed. They put on a great show. As a finale they screamed in low and fast then went vertical. Heading directly for a contrailing airliner directly overhead. That'll be interesting for the crew I thought. :eek:

In fact it was more than interesting. The airliner was a Middle Eastern Airlines 707 out of Beirut. He saw four F15's heading directly for him and reported to ATC he was about to be attacked:rofl  I wish I had a video of that!

Is there any air shows in the US were the fighters can go to Mach 1.0 or faster?? Here in Dallas the can only do about 600mph to 650mph.:cry

Some models of the F-15 are 2-seaters. I am pretty sure the E is and I think their is another 2 seat version.
