strafing,

who cares what a "good" K/D ratio is?  not that this matters but if I'm playing in one area of the map and see a fight developing in another I simply auger and move on to the next fight as opposed to taking additional time to rtb a cartoon plane.  I know some players do that especially if they have kills, personally I don't care.  I never have with rare exception of a few tours that I have wanted to play for score.  I found that playing for score made the game less fun for me so I no longer even look at the score much.

I did view the film this AM and it is just as I suspected.  you were the very high hurricane at 12k+ I was in a 202 at 5k+ or so.  what did you expect me to do?  what would you have done?  I extended thinking you would probably drop in after me blow your massive advantage then I could have my way with you.  instead after a breif chase wherein you gave up nothing you simply climbed back up.  teaser.  there are laws against that in moslem countries you know.

why would you not engage with a little more parity?  why is a woobiecane BoPping around at 12-15K?  I mean if you are looking for a nirvana fight as you claim why not be at 5k in that woobiecane where you are likely to find the true fighters at?  I don't know any good players who bother to climb that high.  they simply don't need to hedge their fights that way.  know what I mean?

What do you mean engage with more parity. I turned to you as soon as I saw you and you kept going the other direction. Not once did you give any intention of wanting to fight. I chased you for awhile but no way is a Huri 1 going to catch a C2.

You kept running away, so I'm not going to keep chasing someone I can't catch and I'm damn sure not going to drop alt when there is another co alt con in the DAR. Incase you didn't notice your squadie was boping around up there at 12k and was in the DAR. So I turned to fight him.

I could care less if you didn't want to fight me, just don't run away then come back trying to cherry pick. That's what I'm calling you on. If you are going to run off because you don't like the fight, don't come back later like you grew a pair and try to cherry pick when I'm fighting another con.

I really didn't have much issue with a two on one fight, I deal with the crap all the time. However you came in this thread telling me I fly limpwristed..  Well  News Flash...I'm not the one whom had to run away because he didn't like the fight, then come back trying to cherry pick.

who ever said you had to fly the same planes at co alt in the DA? lolol
why cant people wake up and see the DA as a small arena to have fun in not a regimented dueling ladder with no second chances.
most of the time i fight lengro in DA and we fly all the planes we can think of vs any other plane. and storch you were laughing and taunting nit players in an arena of newbs and mostly complaining that you were getting ganged. Ren is just a lost cause.

5k altitude advantage?  I guess if it were the other way around you wait huh?

again get a clue.  there was no running away I was drawing you down to attain a more level field.  if anyone ran it was you.

see my statement above.

Crockett -

I'm not sure what Storch's mental condition is called, but you aren't going to convince him that he flew like a chicken****.

According to you, you were in a Hurricane I and he was in a C205.

On his FE, you were in an LA7 with 16 other LA7s and he fought like a lion and killed you before your sissy friends cherrypicked him in his C47.

It really doesn't matter what your film shows - his reality is in his head, and it isn't going to change no matter what anyone else saw.

well here's what I see in strafing's film

at 22 seconds he has a 5.6k altitude advantge which he maintains.

at 57 seconds with a 5k+ alt advantage he begins a weak dive towards my 202

at 1:31 minutes he breaks off his weak and non commited attack and grabs alt again

by 1:55 seconds he has broken off his weak attack.

all the hallmarks of a timid player.  while holding every advantage possible, including a far better turning plane strafing does not commit.

no wonder urchin loves you so, you must be related.  twin sons from different mothers maybe?

I like to run into random fights and fly my plane up against the other then use my strengths and weakness against theirs. There is nothing more fun IMO than flying a Huri 1 (my fav ride right now) against some guy in a perked Temp or Spit 14 and killing them. Or running into a guy in a A6m and out turning him in the H1. That's what is fun too me.

In the DA it's always fighting the identical plane, which can be fun and I've had fun doing it. However, it's just not the same as running into a random fight in the MA where you might be at a disadvantage.

There's no law that says you have to fly the same planes in the DA.  I flew some fun sories in the DA against Urchin recently, some matched, some unmatched.

I also flew several sorties against Widewing in the TA, mostly unmatched.

I was never a fan of the DA either and, even though I didn't fare well in either of these cases, I'm kind of looking forward to going there again.  In fact, it's almost more fun going there against someone better than you (well, except when Widewing saddles up on you in the TA and just keeps hammering you :)  )
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

It can be fun right Bald?
not always about who is the better pilot, mostly about who can make the most wise cracks and have the most fun.

well back on the topic of lawn mower powered airplanes.. :D

I'm sitting here watching The Science Channel show Extreme Machines and they just had a lawn mower powered airplane on.. I googled the guy's name and found a page with his plane..

http://www.aircraft-spruce.com/da11.html

I want one!!!
I'm pretty sure it could fly through the VH too.
