It sure looks nice but at this day and age of gas prices, they're not gonna sell as many as Ford has of the new style Mustangs.  Hell, the Mustang GT (300hp) gets 23 mpg on the freeway, that's not bad for alittle muscle.

I am a fan of the old and new Challenger.  If I come into some money (by some, I mean a lot), I'd probably get the Challenger.  That is, I would pick the challenger over every other car out there, assuming I had the money.

But I wouldn't touch it if it wasn't manual transmission.

Why? Are your auto-boxes still that bad? (My dad had a 1976 Trans-AM, and the 400 auto-box was a horrid mess. 3 gears of lemon souffle consistency and no-go.)

Nothing like a sleeper, 2003 Ford Crown Victoria LX Sport...

Dyno tuned 504 hp at the wheels (approx 580 crank hp), runs mid 11s, full leather interior w/6-point rollbar, and its my daily driver.

Watch her run...

 1/4 mile run video

Best ET so far is 11.45 best trap speed was 120.53mph weighing 4400 lbs w/driver.

there will be manual transmissions available in the R/T and SRT8. not the base, but thats supposedly a v6 anyway...

if a 318 + manual was going to be available, i would be very tempted to do something financially retarded.

No.  There's just something not right and inherently not manly about driving an automatic car.

Sweet Crown Vic, but nothing much of a sleeper with an idle sounding like that.:aok

The SRT8 is the top of the line. Will see how the base model will be priced at, and if they put a V6 out. I'm guessing along the lines of the price curb of the 300. (V6 at 24K, V8 base 28K, 300C 325HP V8 at 33k, 300 SRT 425 V8 at 38K) ... which would run into mustang territory.
Dat jugs bro.

A mustang can be a corvette killer if it's equipped with Roush suspension/brake kit, and of course a 500hp engine from Shelby:aok :aok

Not gonna kill my vette w/ that.     :devil
