Thanks for having us in our first FSO.
We are The Haze from another game that shall remain nameless :) wb cough
We were tasked with Capping CV1 with 68Falcon but due to a lack of CAP at CV3 we were diverted. 347th engaged the enemy at their CV as we engaged some medium alt bombers and NIK's at ours.
Boobrd splashed 1 bomber and a NIK and we lost 1cajun to a fighter.
I was oiled and fueled by a NIK but made an emergency landing on a turning carrier. Talk about pucker factor :)
Trap and Mmmlll landed but bent props on the deck so we were all done for the night.
Took some getting used to but we had a great time.
We'll see you next week.

Absolutely!
That was aloy of fun.
If I didn't slam my SeaFire into the back of my CV that would have been great.

Thanks again for letting hitch a ride with you all.

See you again next week.

347th.

As a new squad to this event and as a new CM in another event, I would like to report that all in my squad thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, even though we were the first to be hit:(, and hope we conducted ourselves and our operation to the the satisfaction of our CiC and fellow allies.

<> to the FSO staff and all members participating. We shall be regular participants in this event.

The Haze 100th FBG did a great job and have shown what a quality squad they are. The 347th FG was tasked with command of CV1, 2 and 3. It was apparent early on that CV1 and 3 did not have enough pilots to CAP there task force. 1trap of The Haze and a his squad where divereted to CV3. They and Warlover of VF1000 prevented the enemy from destroying CV3 :aok

4 Pilots from 347th FG where dispatched from CV2 to increase the CAP of CV1. With Warlock and the other pilots of the 880th Fleet Air Arm CV1 was also saved from destruction.

Unfortunately the remainder of the 347th FG lost CV2. A late frame attack by some Nikis and A6Ms dealt the final blow to the valiant sailors of CV2

4440, I'd like to say we Mongrels were sorry that we wiped out your squad, but we only met two of them and our crack youngster, sondog, got your two pilots who happened to make it as far as a26's radar circle.  It was the only action our squad of 26 pilots saw for the first 80 minutes.

Fortunately we were able to go escort some ki67s making a second run on a CV out east of Japan.  And even more fortunately, we met the AKs in singles and pairs instead of their normal close formations.  It allowed us to take 6 of their scalps while only loosing 3.  Considering the AKs took a total of 29 scalps, that's a good outcome for us.

Allied and Axis players.

4440 and the VFS-169th

the haze and welcome.

That because we were the last 6 AK's that remained.  We were being attacked/attacking since t+25 with maybe 10- 15 min breaks between each incounter.  Was a very bsy frame for us,lol.

I got greedy TC, I had already bagged 4, I wanted more. I thought I shot down a seafire. on the way down. When I pulled up, I had 4 on my tail. I was like "WTF".

I'll only make you sandwich when I can have my arm back. :D
