Score pages and Firefox
« on: December 01, 2007, 07:15:51 AM »
Is there any way to get the "expanded score pages (IE only)" to work with Firefox?

I can open them and type in a pilots name, but I can't sort them, or do pilot vs or plane vs.

If anyone has managed to get it working and can help me out, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.

Firefox has a plug in that allows you to open a tab as a Windows tab inside firefox, and to always remember which page you want to be done that way.

Go get it. Works like a charm!

Somehow, having a callout that loads IE in order to display a page in Firefox is kind of defeating the purpose of why I run FF in the first place...

When I run FF that is, and not Opera which is even less "conformant" but (generally) less targeted for browser exploits.

I know what you mean, ghastly, but it works -- and having asked this question of skuzzy before, I understand from him that there's something intrinsic to firefox that makes the score page coding act fritzy. While it could no doubt be worked out, for a small shop with lots of irons in the fire it probably just doesn't make sense to invest the coding time when WE can work around the problem so easily.

I am trying to get around to re-writting that part of the score and stats pages where it will not matter what browser you use.  Just takes time.

I use IE View (LINK) though there's another one called IE Tab now.

My favorite extensions are IE View, NOScript (Great one), ForecastFox, and Image Zoom.

I just downloaded the IE tab extension.  It seems to work but occasionally makes FF freak out and quit,  not a big deal because FF lets me reload the last tabs I had open.

on a side note i downloaded the "MyStickies" extension for FF.  It is pretty cool.
