Hello all.
Does anyone know this series? I'm being offered this on DVD for some 14 bucks. Thinking about making a go at it.
Thoughts?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

^^^ What he said.

Put it this way. You buy it and I'll guarantee that you'll like it. If you don't like it, I will buy it from you for the $14.00 plus shipping  :D

Ditto.

I watched it as a kid, and had forgotten just HOW good it was until I got the DVDs. Covers just about all of the battles and campaigns, obscure included. Little excess commentary. Just the setup, then 10 minutes of fairly rare action footage with no talk over, followed by simple conclusions. The footage really tells the story.
