Hi,

I'd like to usse FRAPS to capture some footage within the film viewer, however, I cant seem to get trackir to work in the viewer.

I know the films dont record trackir views, however, Im trying to use track ir within the viewer to look around.

Any ideas?

I know Kermit has Track IR, he's used it in some of his films. Maybe he can give you a few hints.

The TrackIR does not work in the film viewer.
That would be very awesome if it did work.

Check my sig for 2 two films I've done with TrackIR involved. Both were captured while playing the game. Film viewer was not used.

It's more than a shame....it's a crime against film makers around the Universe!

You can always do it the hard way if you want to use TrackIR, get some friends to go to the TA with you. My film "Carrier Sortie" was mostly shot in the Training Arena, some in the DA and some in the MA. You can always pay back your helpers with a thank you and their name in your film.

Someone should start a thread in the Wishlist asking for Tir to work in the Film Viewer. BTW, I'm not asking for the game to record the Tir movements, I'm hoping that we can just use Tir in the Film Viewer.

Hey guys .. I would like to record the TIR movements too. Makes the movies more realistic.
Is it possible to have mouselook in the filmviewer? I haven't found any option to do so. If available it would be possible to have at least 2DOF in the filmviewer with the mouse emulation included in the TIR software.
