Last night while upping buffs in LW Orange and A211 (as I recall) I noticed a supply comvoy that was passing OVER the runway at about 15' AGL midway down the NE runway. Thought I'd let you know.

Believe it or not, that has been a common bug since April.  Sudz was made aware of it a few weeks ago.  I'm sure they will have it addressed for a future patch.

Just wait till your touching down a 262 and the supply trucks hit you in mid-air and kill you.  Thats enough to make you wana throw your stick.  Or driving across an airfield in a tiger and have the supply bardges run your over....flipping your tank.  Actually each has happened to me once since the bug showed it's ugly head.

I remember seeing "bug reports" of this on almost every map since AHII and Trinity came out. In fact I remember seeing this being reported when the first "cargo barges" appeared in AHII.

It's not a huge deal, but has been a bug for a looooong time, just rarely reported, and when it is reported they don't know the exact map and base it happened. I have seen it 3 or 4 times myself, but didn't feel like taking the time to document it as I was playing in the MA.

about the only way to find them is to go to each base and watch the supply train / barge / trucks come in from their spawn the whole way. that would take weeks to check them all.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Mustaine, just record a short film. That will have the terrain and base info already in it, no need to sit there trying to write it down while you play.

Yes when they overhauled the terrain system in 2.10 release, all convoys everywhere on every map started acting "funny".

Hence "common bug since April".

Found a convoy of trucks about 5 miles out to sea the other night just trucking along nicely.  Didn't bother recording it since there are so many convoy fixes needed I would imagine they need to go through them all anyway.

There is an auto setting in the terrain editor that builds all the roads for you. It just lays out a 10 mile road in a straight line from each field and you just have to edit each one so it avoids the sea and steep cliffs etc.

I noticed the TE ended each road on the same square as the airfield itself. The road is masked by the airfield terrain tile and objects and so becomes invisible as it enters the airfield square. What I think is happening is that the levitating trucks you see are actually just crossing a bridge on the road. Its just that you can't see (or collide with) the road or the bridge. I edited my roads so they end one square away from the airfield in order to avoid the problem.
