iPhone passes Windows Mobile/CE in browsing stats

The iPhone has passed .09% of the pageviews on the internet.  That means that just about one in a thousand web visits are from an iPhone.  This is actually about one and a half times as many pageviews as the Windows Mobile/CE etc platform, which has been selling for about 10 years.

So, while there are 20 million plus Windows Mobile devices/phones out there (including 1.5 million+ Nokia N95s), hardly anyone is using them to browse.

Still haven't pulled the trigger on buying one, but my main reason is now down to figuring out whether I want to wait until May (or whenever) somehow to get a 3G or what.  Hmm...

Pretty good, from what I've seen and heard.  The calls I made sounded clear.  Speakerphone wasn't super loud, but my last phones have been like that too.  The interface to the phonebook is sweet.

Thank god I didn't buy iphone this year.  I knew they're gonna release a 3G version next year.

As I mentioned on another iPhone thread... this current iPhone is an equiv to a Version 1.0 for hardware and software and no doubt is buggy because it is so new... and expensive because it is an introduction...

My advice is to wait a year and save some money and have less problems than with the current Gen I iPhone.

IF AT&T forces Verizon to open its networks to an iPhone then I might be interested because of Verizon's huge network and customer base and their free V2V moble part of their subscriber plans... but not until the G3 iPhone is out and about and the price has gone down.

Verizon sucks here. I tired them for cell service and within an hour I returned the phone to the store and told them to cancel the contract since I had so many days to decide.

Verizon here has absolutely no signal at all

Even if verizon opens their network, the I-phone im sure will remain at&t exclusive to have its features...work.

Its the Apple way to sell you stuff while sticking a splintered stick where the sun doesn't shine.

I'm waiting to see what comes out after a year or so... things are getting interesting

I've had an iPhone for about three months now. I can't say anything bad about the phone. AT&T's EDGE network, however, leaves me wishing for dial-up. Thankfully, I live in a large city and WiFi's are easy to find.

I like the Safari browser because you get the real website. After years of the hideous Blackberry browser, it's a very welcomed feature for me.

The Email client is nice. I can get all my email accounts delivered to it.

The phone works very well. I love the contact's organization and the feature that shuts off the screen when its by your face.

The iPod is just as good as my other iPods. I use the iPod function of my iPhone everyday (4 days a week) at work. I used it constantly for 5-7 hours solid. I used the phone feature about 20 times a day in durations of 5 minutes to an hour at a time. Battery life is about 1/4 at the end of the day.

My ONLY gripe is you can't put your own ring tones in. You can't even use your own music as tones. Kinda lame.

All in all, I love it.

Congrats Chairboi!

I was torn between the iPhone and SE P1i but the 3g and afew other things including price drove me to the P1i. I will prolly take a good look at the next version of the iPhone
