Been trying to find some info on how lag pursuits and lag rolls are performed and when they should be performed.  Any candidates?

start here:  http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/

read the writeups for:  Lead, Pure and Lag pursuit modes

then the article about "Forcing an Overshoot"

then look at the Trainers Files and look for the  Barrel Roll Defensive Maneuver article/film/thread by Badboy

then read the rest of the articles  for good starting points and/or refreshers....

I added links the 2 barrel roll defense lessons at the bottom of the "forcing and overshoot" page a few weeks ago.

I also have an old pursuit mode write-up on my squad site.

its funny i found myself using those types of pursit modes before i read the write  up i was lagging into turns and leading planes to catch up with them before i read that but after i read it i realized what i was doing. i used the anti rope manuver a few times and man it really works well for me. great writeup from a great guy.
