I saw this movie yesterday, but was surprised by the ending. The ending wasn't great, but I liked it becuase it didn't follow the cookie cutter approach to most movies that provide a sense of closure at the end, which sometimes makes them predictable. The anti-hero gets killed 3/4 into the movie, the sherif doesn't find the bad guy, and the bad guy has had better days. This ending is probably more realistic then we would like to think, assuming you can find $2 million dollars in the middle of nowhere, in a drug option that went wrong. Then be stupid enough to go back during the middle of night to bring water to dying man who would most likely kill you anyway as soon as he gets better...
