Just for the heck of it I started using it today...

For someone who has used something other than IE like firefox navigation is decent, but terminology is a barrier. Some of the features will be neat to check out I think, I can't comment if it is just fluff or useful yet.

For someone who may be migrating from IE, I doubt highly they'd work it out. I have seen some PC Illiterate people try something new, and Opera would just piss them off :lol

Anyone have different, good or bad views of it?
I don't know what to put here yet.

I use it for webmaster stuff, because you can save "tabbed sessions". This allows me to open up a bunch of web-sites in tabs, then save them and just open that session and presto all the websites open up. Combine that with saved passwords and I can easily manage a crap load of websites.

IMO it's 100 times better than FireFox, but I still like the ease of use of IE better. The problem is all the Mozilla based browsers have issue rendering webpages if the code isn't perfect.

So regardless of what people say about IE, it's still the best at displaying a webpage, simply because it's very flexible and doesn't require CSS and other stuff to be perfect.

Arguably the best browser...

I like the stability, strict standards, speed, built in email, news, chat clients, bit torrent, search in address bar and tons of widgets.

Very good alternative to Firefox 2, which turned out to be bloated, unstable, insecure piece of ****, and ver 3 looks even worse... Mozilla foundation is also in bed with Google, the fact I really don't like.

IE7 turned to be better than I've tought in terms of footprint, speed, stability and to some extent security (activeX should be scrapped). Simple interface, good for masses and the sad fact that some sites still support IE only...

My favorite is Konqueror tho (full windows support coming soon)...

I used it exclusively when I was sucked into the black hole that is Ogame.

For everyday browsing I prefer Firefox, probably for no other reason than I'm used to it and it has a good add-on library that is quite useful.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.
