Just thinking out loud.... With GV's - your engine, tracks/tires, guns get taken out from enemy fire but you don't die. Your buddy drops a box of supplies and your back in the fight. Could we do something with airplanes? Example: Your out of ammo, hit the re-arm pad - wait 30 seconds, your back in the fight with a full load of ammo & fuel. What about damage to your plane? Could we add a feature that restores all damage while re-arming? We have it for GV's, why not planes? Of course SA is key to staying alive, but we all have moments of weakness and someone gets a good spray out, and their goes the oil. Anyways...just thinking out loud. Sorry if this request has been submitted before.

I think they should set it up that when the GVers pickup and use the supplies that they would have to wait an additional 2-3 minutes to simulate the repairs.

The 30 seconds on the rearm pad simulates the refueling, a repair to a damaged plane would have to be much longer. Most people wouldn't want to set on the pad for 5-10 minutes while there plane is repaired.

After all, your already at the field, and planes are free! oh ya, there's that "scoring" thing that so many worry about

It would never be all damage. If we ever got this feature it would only be parts like elevators, rudders and that. I for one would not want to wait 5 mins just to get repaired.

This isn't quite the same but...I wouldn't mind an off field M3 refuel/rearm function. I have fallen short of the runway many-a-time out of gas with lots of kills with no damage whatsoever. I'm not for the quick damage repair option, but the refuel/rearm out in the field is not that unrealistic.
