Now and again I wander into the MAs to see how the other half lives. Such was the occasion yesterday when I peeked into the Mid-war arena. I was treated to a series of 1v1 engagements with Slapshot, who absolutely owned me in each and every one, typically within a few seconds of the merge.

Pay some attention to this man. He has some Very Clever Moves that I don't believe I've seen anywhere else. I learned much, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to say "thanks" to him as he weaves a new rug out of oldman pelts.

Thanks for the kind words Oldman ... I did have somewhat of an E advantage on each of the fights, but always a joy to run into you ... win or lose.

Your right ... but my roots are in the "Blue" Spit V ... many many hours in that ride.

It's always nice to see theese kind of posts.
I am sure Slapstick has "slapped me around too" I know I cringed when I saw it so that is probably a sign of "post traumatic stress syndrome".

It is amazing sometimes how someone who is really good can pull certain moves so well that you recognize them when it happens. There is one guy in particular who has a reversal move in a KI-84 that gets me every time. As soon as I see it, "OH S&#!, thats LippyCH" Of course by them it's too late and he is zooming away while I shake my fist at him from the silk while looking at the text confirming who just pwned me.

Not trying to Hijack your post there by mentioning someone else.

Slappy is a good stick no doubt , what very few know
is his contribution to the others in AH .

He was a squaddy in our squad briefly , during that time
one of our guys died from cancer , Slappy came up with
the idea for OzKansas map and the avatars . I'm not
even sure if He knew Oz , but he knew our loss , especially
Toad and Rude and helped an unbelievable amount .

I've noticed he still uses his avatar even tho he's in
a different squad , thats class that sets him heads
above the best sticks in the game .

I brieflly joined the BK's cause I missed visiting with Slap .
I've thought about it since , especially since the game is headed
towards ch200 meaning more than what this game used to be .

Thanks for that Sax ... it means alot.

You and everyone in the 13th will always be my friend and I will always consider myself a member of the 13th, no matter what squad I fly with ... just like you will also be considered a BK for life.

I knew OZ briefly before joining the 13th, but it was Rude and Toad that really drove it home for me ... it's good to see OZKanasas back in rotation even tho I don't fly LW too much anymore.
