Excellent.  Looking very good otherwise.  I like your panel line take.  I would not do it that way, but it looks good and sets your "style" that most skinners develope.  Unless Krusty talks them into doing it his way. :lol

Right wing mid way on back side, the OD has some grey in it.  I notice this as I had the same problem way back when I did my Mk9.

Looking good Kazan. The fin flash isn't right though. Your skin has the early type with all three colours the same width. The real aircraft has the later type with a much narrower white band. The fin and fuselage markings changed at about the same time as RAF fighters went from brown/green to grey/green in the ETO.

The "D" should be the same size as the "RF", it looks larger on your skin, but you are correct to have the code as "D-RF" on the right hand side.

Sure wish they'd fix the nose on the AH Spit V.  It's just wrong and ruins the lines of that aircraft.  The late Merlin birds look fine but the early ones in AH just don't look right from the firewall forward.

Same way the 109E-4 H-stabs are too far forward. It catches my eye every time, and annoys me. Not much we can do. :(

Right click the Default sking (in the hangar) and select "Save Default Skin". A folder will appear in your skins folder with the name of whatever plane you saved. Then you just find the appropriate file and modify it.

In my opinion (and this is only mine), the "ribs" on the control surfaces are far too prominent. Also, look at the port horizontal stabilizer's leading edge. On the starboard side you can see the panel line following the leading edge, but on the port side it runs off into the edge and looks like it's slightly mis-placed.

I almost liked the version 1 weathering better (more splotches) but the version 2 weathering is definitely more refined. Overall I think it looks pretty good. I'd ask one of the spit experts to sign off any all the details (codes, details, placements thereof, etc).

Any pics of the undersides?

These spits DID spew oil heavily under the fuselage, but the rest of the wings wouldn't be so beat up, in my opinion. Can you tone down the non-oil-stains, and then work on smoothing out the borders on the oil stains?

You'll need to add a bit to the sides of the fuselage, to blend it in, then find the chin scoop and add it there as well. You'll have to check and recheck to make sure the patterns merge in an acceptable way.
