Many of us are prior service or continue to serve each of our countries to this day. This time last year I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in boot camp. This year I consider myself very lucky to be able to spend this holiday at home with my friends and family. Those of us who have serve and served have experienced a holiday away from home. Even those not in the military may have experienced a holiday away. So remember today and tomorrow that there are those among our communities that are not lucky enough to spend this holiday season with those who love them. Take a minute of your day to remember their sacrifices so we all can enjoy a warm holiday with presents and a big meal. Remember those who have given their lives in past wars and events to protect your country. If you should see a service member during the holiday times or not, take a few seconds out of your day and thank them for what they do for you. It is the best gift any of them can receive is to feel appreciated.
Merry Christmas everyone

P.S. Please dont thank me for my service. This is about those in countries and places where they cannot see their families. It is not about me, its about them.
