LoL.  Don't get me started.  I've lobbied a decade for a metric time unit.  Everyone thinks I'm nuts.  I mean it just makes sense!  100 minutes in a hour. 10 hours in a day. 10 days in a week. 10 weeks in a month, 10 months in a year....AH! 10 years in a decade, 100 years in a century....whatever.  Somebody can work out the details.  I came up with the BIG picture. (too much Jack for this kind of math.)

I've done so much freakin date manipulations on so many products, as far as short dates go, I can't even remeber how WE do it sometimes.  I do ISO 24h nowdays, even on my personal checks.  yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss.  And people STILL think I'm crazy!:rofl

You are correct sir.

Left is Port. Same number of letters. Starboard is Right, starboard having more letters then port just like right has more letters then left. Easy way to remember it.

I remember it as, Port is RED (nav light) and there is no port LEFT.
