I actually don't know when he was born, nor do I care to look it up.

I did know that since I read the book back in the day. My perspective was from the movie only point of view. My point was it looked very similar to 28 days later.  Basically like watching the same movie twice with different actors.

28 days later and 28 weeks later are a rip off of the book.

Doesn't sound like you are aware that Stallone's new Rambo movie is less than a month away now!

It opens next month on January 25th.

In the movie, the elderly Rambo has retired to the wild northern border area of Thailand, where he now works as a simple river boatman.   He has also renounced all violence, and become a complete pacifist who lives in harmony and peace with nature and all men.

A group of human rights monitors, though, needs to reach refugee camps holding people who have fled the tyrannical and corrupt military government of nearby Burma.  Rambo agrees to give them passage on his boat, so that they can reach the camps and observe what is taking place.

Predictably, they find horrendous atrocities being committed against innocent and defenseless Burma refugees, including women and children.  The human rights monitors are captured, and then face execution at the hands of the brutal Burma soldiers.

However, during the long boat trip, Rambo has developed feelings for the woman monitor who is on the team.  Rather than stand by and let her be murdered, you can probably guess what then happens next.

RAMBO LIVES AGAIN!!!!

No knife this time around.  Instead, he now carries a huge machete for chopping up bad guys.

Besides shooting lots of AK-47's from the hip, he also has a big scene where he shoots a Browning 50 caliber M2 machine gun wildly from the hip also:

P.S. -- Here are the movie's credits:

Producer: Sylvester Stallone
Director:   Sylvester Stallone
Script Writer:  Sylvester Stallone

Lead Actor:  Sylvester Stallone

If you are a fan of Stallone, you will love this movie.   For it is PURE STALLONE.

Since Stallone was arrested in Sydney last March for HGH and Steroids, they have been forced to market the Rocky boxed set as THE ROCKY* SAGA.  With alternate endings for 2 thru 6.

I'm sorry, but past the only similarity that it's a devastating virus, I see no real similarities between the two.

Really??  I had not heard about that incident.

I've been wondering about how he has been able to keep such huge, gigantic bulging muscles at age 61.   I thought he had just been exercising and eating right.

Doesn't the Australian government believe in better living through Chemistry??

Here I am 55, and Stallone looks so much younger and healthier than I do.  His hair is even thicker and darker than it was in the earlier Rambo movies.
