Those are amazing pictures. I can't imagine the amount of money you spent on your camera equipment, but it was worth every penny.

Funny how A fighter jock in a F-105 was almost drummed out of the AF for doing a supersonic pass over a MIG base in Nam, but we can see passes like this. I love seeing this on camera and support it but we live in a crazy world.

Over a MIG base? Wouldn't that be considered attacking the enemy by virtue of blowing out their windows?

You bet ya! If you have ever seen a Thud in full burner it was the fastest to mach one in the inventory at that time. It was against the ROE during the early days to approach the base. Not until the onset of aggressive bombings in the north did the ROE change. Very frustrating for the USAF, Marines, and Navy.

F/A-18 can't do Mach 1 under 10,000 feet. Engines aren't powerful enough.
