Was wondering. With all of the new guys having to go search and deal with the learning of the game. Why not have a stickie with the different useful channels and frequencies pinned up? Maybe just a forum of it's own for the new guys to get information that isn't really all that accessible? Just an idea is all.

The info is already there and very accessible. It's on the AH2 help pages: http://www.hitechcreations.com/ahhelp/radio.html

You miss the point. I was thinking of a forum for the new guys with stickies of radio channels and things that takes the learning curve and streamlines it a bit. Yes there's a help page but why not a complete manual on the forums for new arrivals?

What you propose is just a help page with another name. We do have a complete manual for new arrivals. And it's exactly where one would suspect it. When I was new, I was looking under "Help" first for instructions.

Not many people use the manual though. In fact, I'd have to guess 90% of new players just jump into the MA and ask "How to I fly?", and the other 10% go to help page, and TA first.

Having new users find a "forum" to view stickies would be no more difficult than going to the home page (where they downloaded the game) and finding the "Help" page.

A large (surprisingly large) number of players in this game have never visited the forums. Several folks in my squad have flown for a long time, but when we wanted to hook them up with forum access they admitted never having been here. This is not uncommon with the large subscriber base.

So it's more likely they'll check the help page on the webpage than they will the forums, especially if so many have never heard there was a forum system!
