GVing with Mouse

My JS (Saiteck Cyborg Evo) finally gave out yesterday. I know I don't have chance in plane while trying to use the mouse and I tried to set up it on GVs but found it difficult.

What should I do so I can move my turret, let alone my tank?

if you can wait to get another stick do that.

for 20 bucks go to walmart and get saiteck st 290 cheap stick six buttons and a hat ive been using it since august and had no problems with it.

even better for you if you have already got a throttle.

nearly imposible for me to use a mouse now belive me i tried it.

wait there are wal-marts in california right? if that dont work try target or best buy. it will be good enough till u can afford another evo or an x52

Basically you do use your mouse the same like a joystick push forward, left, right ect.
But you have to make sure you have all functions mapped to mouse. As default mode for GV's is mode 2, you may have to copy your mode 1 settings to mode 2 first. There is a convenient button for that.

st290 doesn't have a twist-action, I believe. Unless you have rudder pedals I'd spend a couple dollars more and go the next model up (Saitek or not -- just avoid logitech).

I used a st 290 pro for the last year (well went through 2 of them) and it's a good stick for the money.  It does have a twisty action with kong-fu grip
