The DA furball area is too big
« on: January 01, 2008, 09:17:17 PM »
It allows players to climb way too high and run away from fights for far too long.  There should be a smaller area enclosed in high canyon walls like in KOTH.  It could have strong downwinds over a certain altitude, but that'd require a separate arena.

Squeakers were flying 262s in it yesterday.  Was quite funny considering it was probably the only time they'd ever been able to fly one.

Went there that other day and there were 5 Tempests and 1 262 flying around.

Seems that anyone in the DA furball area who flys these planes ... just plain suck.

It would be cool to take a section of the map and make an area that moot describes, and put it on the opposite side of the map from the other furball area.

At those fields, disable the 262s and the 163s.

My squad was in there one night a couple weeks ago. Our country was generally outnumbered but was cutting through the squeakers like a hot knife through sherbert (butter would be too tough to properly describe these guys, lol). I actually had to take a 1-Hog just to get a little bit of a challenge. :D
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
