Can anyone analyze these duels for me?
« on: January 03, 2008, 07:19:37 PM »
Donkey's thread gave me the idea for this one.

Any who I was wondering if anyone could watch these 3 quick fights I had with a squad member and analyze them for me. With the TOC coming up this Saturday I want to try and be on top of my game for it. If anyone could watch the films and tell me what I need to improve on it would be greatly appreciated!

:D Always glad to be of some service to the community hahaha.  I'll watch them, but I don't know if I'll quote on them (most likely it'll probably make you worse off then before:aok ).

Anyways, I got a lot of help doing this from the guys, hopefully you should get the same.

:lol

I'm also trying to get some last minute practice in for the TOC, but since I haven't played more than 10 hours over the last 4 months, I don't think it will be much help. My SA is absolutely horrible right now. :(

Looked like good fun with SkyRock.  Reminded me of our 38G duals.  Arm bending, low speed, flapps dragging,  hanging on the stall, praying for a snapshot or a mistake kinda fight.

Good fun.  Rock looked a bit rusty and you look better  Your snapshots at 90 degree deflection were the killers.  Rock missed a couple of those shots that he normally doesn't miss, which makes me think he's rusty.

Having run into him in his Corsair in the arena in the past, when he's on, he doesn't miss that shot.

Looked like you had a good time :)

Yup, a little rusty on the snaps and rushed those a little as we were both late for dinner,(even snapped wings one time, lolz), but nice flying BK.  We get back in there I'll go left some to give you some more looks.  Also we might try some lighter spits, heavy US stuff(hogs, ponys, jugs, 38s), of course some 109's, and some japanese stuff.  Too bad I won't be able to make TOC as I am working on my dad's house this weekend, sure wish they could have had it on a friday night!

Dan, did I ever tell you I had stall limiter on all those fights we had? LMAO, didn't even know it til Ren was over at the house here and was checking out my setup.  Nice fights though!:aok

Dueled Lambo some the other night as well in spit9's and was checking to see if 25% extra fuel made all that big of difference and I have to say, if your on the envelope....it does matter.  He's gotten much better as well as many who I used to help/beat back in the day.  May be time to pass the torch sort a speak!:aok

Triton28 - "...his stats suggest he has a healthy combination of suck and sissy!"

So the trick is to first get you drunk, then sneak over to your plane and set the stall limiter.  Good to know for next time :)

Gonna have to get SAPP to install a bar in your 38 that's well stocked:aok
