Boroda, have a happy new year!
« on: December 31, 2007, 05:52:58 PM »
I used one of the MAKS pictures to wish the fellow Finns a happy New Year in our Finnish forum. So I edited a photo with Wasq & yourself to have some merry hats (I don't know what sort of hats people usually wear on New Year's, but I thought tin foil hats to be a bit over the top, so they're generic funny hats for now!).

Oh, never mind the Finnish text at the top left corner, it's just a New Year's wishing.

Boroda, thank you very much for everything you did for us at the MAKS air show.  It was a very exciting and fun afternoon we spent together - the MiG-3 did a good show and the MiG-29 UVT was fantastic! I hope you have a happy 2008, hope to see you again at the MAKS 2009! :)

The girl in the center of the picture in the back has potential.

I take it you're an electrical engineer...or a big battery fan.

Well, NASTROVIA to you all anyway.
Not sure of the spelling, but in Finnish it sounds like KIBBIS.

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Thank you, guys, and Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! (well Orthodox Christmas is on Jan 7th, so I hope I can say so ;))

Was away from forums for a week, out of coma now, will have to work tomorrow full day, and then - back into astral :) This holidays will and with a hangover on Jan 15th after Old New Year.

We celebrate Xmas and New Year twice, so the country is all drunk from Dec 24th to Jan 14th (New Year by Julian calendar). We lived on Julian calendar until 1918, and our Church still uses it.

Panzzer, I really enjoyed talking to you guys on MAKS. I hope we'll meet more people from this board in 2009 ;) And also hope you guys will have some spare time to see Moscow and have a party somewhere. It's a funny and nice city, especially if you don't live here :D

Rip, isn't lifting a glass or a mug an exercise enough to keep a good shape? :D I think I can expect one of the prizes in a glass-lifting competition with other members ;)
