There should be a delay to GV repair.  It could be a variable in the Arena Settings.  It's most gamey in a scenario, where it changes tactics from historical to gamey.

Like maybe the delay a plane encounters on the re-arm pad?

I was just thinking...30 secs...but I bet it took a lot longer to fix a track/turret than it did to load ammo onto a plane.

Thats a good idea, nothing is more gamey then strafing an Osti and not knowing he has supplies, watching his turret get smoked, then 2 seconds later, before i even fly PAST him start shooting at me again and get me.

I say 30 second delay before getting "repaired" would be pretty fair and honest to realism.

Take away the random dispersal of the osti's 37mm cannon fire, and you might have an argument.  Since the Osti is already handicapped in that way, and is SOOO easily smoked, I don't see how handicapping them further helps game play.

Excepting manned ack, ground vehicles are already the easiest to kill/cripple player-controled targets in the game.  There is no need to make it even harder for them.
