What is Neo-Nazism?
« Reply #15 on: January 07, 2008, 07:59:57 PM »
in a nutshell

Neo-Nazism (literally new Nazism) is the ideology of post-World War II political movements seeking to revive Nazism.

The specific policies of neo-Nazi groups differ, but they often include allegiance to Adolf Hitler, antisemitism, racism, xenophobia (towards non-whites), nationalism, white supremacy, militarism and homophobia. Neo-Nazis often use the symbols of Nazi Germany, such as the Swastika, Sig Runes and the red-white-black color scheme. Some groups and individuals who support the ideology openly declare themselves as Nazis or neo-Nazis, but others eschew those terms to avoid social stigma or legal consequences. Some European countries have laws prohibiting the expression of pro-Nazi, racist or anti-Semitic views; thus no significant political party describes itself as neo-Nazi in those countries. Neo-Nazi activity appears to be a global phenomenon, with organized representation in many countries, as well as international networks. It has appeared even in Israel.[1] Individuals who have attempted to revive Nazism include Colin Jordan, George Lincoln Rockwell, Savitri Devi, Francis Parker Yockey, William Pierce, Eddy Morrison, and David Myatt.

Sometimes it helps to break down a word.

neo = new

nazi = evil murdering totalitarian racist scumbags. (quite probably not nearly stong enough)

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Y'all bear in mind this is a kid, who's parents obviously want some controll on what information their child gets online.

Then when your parents get home, ask them for permission to disable it so you can search. And if neo-nazis is something they're ok with you researching, they'll say yes. If it's something they're not ok with you researching, they'll say no. Parental controls are in place for a great reason

Was the right answer to this kids question.

Might be a longshot.
But I'd be willing to wager that the parental controls were put in place to restrict access to subject matter other then finding out the definition of Neo Nazism. LOL

In a word.

Explain the situation and ask your mom to change the parental controls settings.

I had to do this for my 11 year old daughter just so she could do her homework because I got tired of allowing only specific sites.
think I just upped it to late teen or some nonsensical setting.
That was about a year ago.

Because AOL's web Browser (internet explorer) sucks so much When she yells to me about not being able to access a website. I just tell her
"Just use Firefox."

Maybe a linking from those websites to Auschwitz or Dachau sites would help?
Not all the stuff for children though...

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Would it be funny if he said "left" and was serious? Or left and wasn't? Or middle and was kinda? ;)

On a really serious note, however, I understand if you're simply saying labeling any American's political stance as "neo-nazi" (unless they really are one) shouldn't be done in a serious light.
