You Finns are pretty wacky about Red Habs....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJIt1_sC9X8&NR=1Wacky Red Hab Finn (Do NOT click on video if watching someone in pain from eating peppers offends you.)
I grow Habenero Red Savinas, and recommend extreme caution when consuming them. Some people can actually stop breathing as their throat siezes up due to the extreme chemical heat from the pepper. (You've heard of pepper-spray, right?)
Last fall, I de-seeded one and ate it...sweat like a pig for 45 minutes.
Help me out Finns...when they keep referring to "sour milk" that they drink to ease the pain...is "sour milk" actually buttermilk?
Red Savinas are tasty de-seeded, and made into a sauce which is diluded with tomato sauce (vinegar, salt, chili powder, fresh garlic, and onions)...
I do not recommend eating them straight like the guys in the videos.
And DEFINITELY DO NOT touch your eyes or private parts after having handled one.
Miitaa Kuuluu!
