To go one on one with me at med and low alt please respond here with time you can be there.

In exchange for practice against a moving target I ask only that you offer some advice as to what I am doing wrong and what would have made it more difficult if/when you shoot me down.

~S koze

p.s I'll be flying La 5fn and Yak 9u

p.s.s  I have access to a teamspeak and a ventrilo server if you would like to use that!

Please note Americans often put the month first, which would be 1/9.

For the international group we've got, best to abbreviate Jan 9.

I can't claim to be good, nor am I sure I can teach anything but I'd be willing to help you out.  I do have quite a bit of experience in both the La-5 and the Yak-9U.  I won't be able to get on until probably after 9:00 PM Central though.

Ok these are the ones with Knife.

He had to go immediately after second one so wasn't able to go over anything with him.

Yes

Caught up with Marvin and did N1k vs La 5fn (ouch) and more La 5fn vs La 5fn , fire and no fire fights.

Learning some info on why my merges are so bad. Seems standard for everyone is to go low for speed and then pull up behind their opponnent trying to out zoom or pull a tight immel "beneath" opponent to gain their six.

Thanks marv

The main idea of going low, is you want to gain some speed but most importantly you are looking for seperation between the you and your opponent. myself and a few others prefer seperation both vertically & horizontally....this allows for you to pull a lead turn on them and with hope of timing it right you are perpendicular to them as they cross your flight path.....better way of saying it is you gain the angles advantage first....now with the tad bit of extra speed you gained during the "obtaining seperation phase" you have the needed E ( speed ) to stay with them , or even close on them to obtain a guns solution......

catch Ren, he can get you squared away in short order/time.....
"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

Looking for him,

good info otherwise.

Caught up with Knight again but all he said was "I hate Las"   ;)

Got on later than I expected last night... not until after 9:30.  Stopped by the DA but didn't see you so I went to the MA for an hour.

BTW, what's your in-game handle?

Look me up in the MA if you still want to meet up.  I'm usually on after 9 for an hour or two.
