Our Lady Of The West Fork of The Trinity

I've heard of people seeing the face of Jesus in a muffin or the face of Mary in a bean burrito, but in Jacksboro they've got people seeing Our Lady of Guadalupe in a tree. Heck, I don't even know who that Lady is. Since those images are always so open to interpretation, I'd have called it Mary just for the publicity. Or at least Our Lady Of The West Fork of The Trinity River.

But the best is yet to come. The tree is in a city park. How long before a) city removes damaged tree and mexicans go berserk or b)somebody files a lawsuit about religious activities on city property?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Denis Leary said it best:

"I think she has a big enough budget in that if she appeared it wouldn't be on a f***** blueberry muffin.    She'd just appear and say stop putting s*** in the coffee!"

Let It Be.

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

If one uses their imagination I can sort of see it, but then, some people see clouds shaped like bunny rabbits.

Actually, one time I saw a cloud that looked like a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser from Return of the Jedi. :noid
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Man, that ain't no lie.  I don't know how many times I've seen on the local news a group of Hispanics see's a Virgin Mary in a water stain, a piece of gum on the ground, a smashed quarter-pounder in the street and then BOOM up goes a memorial shrine and a gathering of crying Hispanics surrounding it.

I sorta feel for them though, white people still see Elvis...

People are always asking "Have you found Jesus?"  and now I can finally answer yes.

Saw him yesterday down at the Stop N Go.
He was running the register when I paid for gas.

....At least I guess it was him. He had a dark complexion , chrome shades and said......"Thank you ........Thank you very much".
