well i just found out that if you lose your droons they cost perk twice as much as they do in the hanger so how about it dosent cost perk when they crash?
Don't shoot a "deer" they may shoot back.

They don't.
The perk price you see is always per plane. When you see Arado perk price at 50 in hangar, it's thus 50 for one plane or 3x50=150 points for a formation. Don't lose your drones or you have to pay. If you are not able to keep formation, do some offline or TA practice or maybe just use single bomber instead of formation.

Here's some tips to keep your drones:

1) reduce power before you make a turn...I usually cut it back about 10% ...this gives them a performance edge

2)  Dont turn too tightly.....I will start turning ...then hit the F3 view to make sure they are staying with me...while I contune to turn...I will go back and forth between cockpit and F3 view .....once your turn is finished...level out... ...wait about 30 - 40 seconds to allow your drones to settle into formation....then go back to full power

using these methods i have never lost a drone
