....for President?

Mayor Bloomberg's promotion of a centrist government that would transcend party politics is driving a new approach to American politics, and efforts to downplay the viability of his possible presidential campaign are premature, a political strategist and pollster who has worked for Mr. Bloomberg and President Clinton is saying.

You could own up and admit that our country's shape has less to do with what our current president has done, and instead realise that with start of the Clinton administration, we started a slide into a morally deprived nation.   Add to that the behavior of people like Kennedy, Pelosi, Levin, and Biden and you have huge attacks on personal freedoms almost on a daily basis.

But hey, blame the guy who had the balls to stand up to terrorism and a ruthless dictator instead of getting blow jobs in the oral office, it's the liberal thing to do.

Bloomberg could flip his wrist and spend as much as all the candidates
 together.
"Associates of the mayor told the Associated Press that Bloomberg, a billionaire several times over, has begun an expensive cross-country detailed polling and sophisticated voter analysis in all 50 states as part of his careful not-so secret consideration of a White House bid, presumably as an independent."

Think he will run?

Can you provide proof that Bush's actions alone have screwed the country?

Why not take a look at the congress, and realise who voted those imbeciles in there.  By and large, the majority of congress is a bunch of idiots that do not have any comprehension of living in the real world.  Until that changes, we will continue to spiral down.

As for dismissing the Taliban, perhaps you might look back to the time period of 1996 - 1998 when Sudan offered up Bin laden, including detailed intelligence on the Global Terrorism Networks created by the Taliban, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Iran's Hezbollah, and the fledgling Al Quaida.  They also offered Osama's entire entourage which included Aywan Zawahiri (considered to be the key planner on the 9/11 attacks) and several of the men who piloted the aircraft in to the buildings.  Clinton did nothing.

Again, you might be ok with Clinton getting blowjobs, and if this was all, I could care less, but realise that Clinton was far more concerned with chasing tail than he was with matters of this nation's security.

King Geroge has milked us to the bone now time for them to leave and clean up the mess.
okay Bodhi it's really not important now is it :)

Who will replace him? I dont like any of them including the Clintons.
At the moment voting for the least evil seems to be status quo.

I dont know that much about Bloomberg . I know that he has been in both parties and now is independent. I dont know his postions yet. I do know I share his dislike for the partisan politics. Time for it to stop.

Yeah... he's independent... in name only.  The guy is a democrat who joined the rublicans so he could win the election, and then declared himself an independent.

And you probably think Bill clinton was the greatest president since Lincoln which definitely makes you a lefty. Don't blame you for not wanting that label though, it is pretty ugly.

It is important.  The President can not do anything without the approval of congress.  You want to whine about the state of the Union, whine to them.

yep.. most lefties want us to all come together as one country...   so long as it is their ideas that win out and the other guys get trashed.

We are not one country.. we are deeply divided and... we should be.  there is one side that believes in personal freedom and responsibility and one side that believes in socialism and "collective rights"

tell me... how can these two come together?  are you willing to give up your ideals to be like mine so that we can "be one country"?

If not..  well.. then I guess we will just remain bitter enemies.
