A friend of mine lived and worked in Vegas, and he got to meet Rickles once, and he knew some others who had dealt with Rickles. The word he gave us was that Rickles in real life was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet.

Great stuff on Rickles. Love the guy. Hey, RPM (at Panchos) ... see you've got "The Right Stuff" quote saluting Gordo. Always one of my favorite movies. "The Mercury Seven" are all on my list of heros.
