I would like to see extremely tall mountains around the furballin' area of the DA.

Reason- to prevent clowns from flying 262's in from the nearby bases.

Additionally, I think it might be more conducive to fighting if the system 'victories' message was disabled in the DA.

Fly it till it falls apart around you... then get a new one.

I'm all with you on the first part, I've suggested 70k mountains before around the furballing area just for that reason. Honestly, if they climb over that, they deserve to be in IMO.

I seriously doubt a ME-262 or ME-163 could do that, and any bomber that climbs 60,000 feet has way to much time on his hands. All in all it does bring a up a good expansion to this thread though. That all buildings in the DA should be indestructible to stop people from bombing them.

You'd have to make it 90k to get the same effect cause the Hi Alt. Bases you can launch the jets from (their base alt. is 20k...) so if you make it 90k, why not round it to the nearest hundreds? so 100k mountains sounds good to me :aok

First off, those clowns flying 262's are probably skilled pilots, they have every right to furball in it if they want, try climbing to 15k and picking them if your so scared of 262's.

Also 262's are not that hard to evade, your poor Situational Awareness is more likely the problem, simple Split-S or I-turn will get away from 262. But banning someone who risks 300 perks to fly around a furball area just because? No!

How many perks does it take to fly a 262 in the DA?

i had flown 4 unsuccessful sorties in the MA to lose around 1000perks in the ME262 vowing never to fly it agiain... When the opportunity came up for me to practice BnZ jet style in a 3 way furball in the DA..(best place for a 262 imho) i used it to practice and learn.. I would fly the 262 untill i died to give fellow pilots the satisfaction of downing the illustrious jet. I allways asked if anyone currently flying would mind if i engaged in 262 and allways received positive responses.. a couple of guuys took to hunting me which was also fun...

When i had enough practice i went to the Ma and successfully landed an 8 kill sortie...wtg me.,.

Point being,,, without this opportunity to practice i probably would never had enjoyed or even flown the 262 again,,,

Thanks for the opportunity,, lol some of thread names do sound familiar,,

I can appreciate the argument if people are abusing it relentlessly however i feel for the purposes in which i used the DA for,, were quite appropriate,, plane choice is individual,, and yes its very easy to avoid my 10k BnZ style so open your eyeSA........
