Hmm wow. Bold remark.  I work with many Japanese daily, none of them are afraid of the color black.  One even drives a black car.

You should tell them you read that on the interweb, so they don't drive around looking stupid.

Repeating something I posted a couple weeks ago...

You guys do realize that the radar on the night fighters of the period was extremely short-ranged don't you? Hell, the Black Widow's radar (which was a pretty big airborne radar for the time) only had a range of 5 miles. :( That's less than the visual range we have now. Like uberslet said, it would only be useful on Christmas Eve, and then only with ground-based radar or a controller to get you in the ball park.
I guess we could microwave squeekers with it. :D

As cool as the P-61 is, and it is very cool (those spoilers give this big boy a nasty roll rate :aok), it would be all but useless in AH.

Interesting link here:

http://www.nightfighter.info/
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

What an absolute monster of a plane. Probably would have to be perked though of brought into the game, which I doubt it will be.
