This time it could result in a surprise when you go into a public bathroom.

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/ap/20080116/twl-craig-appeal-1be00ca.html

Might make some avoid public restroom and others might frequent them more often.

I, as a creature of habit, carry a (frequently honed and easily unsheathed) K-Bar upon my person, save for when I travel because I got it as a personal gift from a fellow Ranger and I don't want to have to toss it in the "oops" box at the airport.

For whatever reason (avoided if at all possible), I may need the conveniences     of a public restroom stall, I hereby warn everyone that anything pushed, passed, poked, or handed under either divider will be summarily lopped  off or seriously lacerated without notice.

That is all.

Von...

It might help if you realize that Sandman is from Kalifornia.

And IMHO the People Republic of California and the Peoples Republic of China have far more in common then the initials P.R.C.

It often SEEMS like people from there feel it's necessary to control, ridicule, and disparage anything, or anyone, they FEEL or believe, doesn't agree with them or their opinions.

Kind of a Carval thing.

You know, the kinda a raving mad dog growling thing done while calling em trailer park trash approach.

I say SEEMS because you can actually find people on this BBS that are from Kalifornia that DON"T do that.

That have the ability to let others actually voice their opinions and NOT attack them or their opinions.  True they might disagree with you or your views BUT they have this STRANGE ability to do so in a REASONING manner, possibly even RATIONAL manner, maybe even ALLOW you to have and hold an opinion other then THEIRS!

?????

That is it?

No attempt to reason with me or tell me I'm wrong?

Just cuss ( I'm guessing the **** was intended as a curse as that is usually what such means)  at me and leave it at that?

Hmmm...............

Hey come on now!

That kinda response.............

Some could think that kind of post tends to agree with what I said??????

BTW I've noticed some of your other post and my response was directed at what I thought I saw (attitude) in your post Sir.

If I'm wrong please tell how and why, I'm listening/reading.

Sorry, perhaps you misunderstood, or misunderstand me.

I had NO intention of telling anyone to shut up.

Can't recall ever posting shut up to anyone?

Although I have requested that some ignore me.

I stated my opinion of Sandman's post, just like Sandman stated his opinion of  VonMessa post.

Does this create a problem?

Does my opinion cause a problem?

Am I NOT allowed to state my opinion like others on this board?

OK.

Here you go.

One of the problems with the net is, no facial expression, no voice inflection, all too often nothing to indicate something is a joke or serious.

IF I mistook Sandman's earlier post as serious when in fact it was intended as a joke then PLEASE state so Sandman and I will apologize Sir.

NOW to a point I want to make.

Sorry if the fact that I watched the state of my birth become something I find distasteful.

So distasteful that I left.

I keep watching as the politicians KEEP LYING to the people, and taking away peoples RIGHTS and MONEY and confess I'm flabbergasted that the people keep re-electing them and asking them to do even more of the same.

Don't get me wrong here!

I'm for individual rights.  VERY much for!

BUT what I see happening in Kalifornia is IMHO NOT about individual rights.

I've lived a rather full life I guess.  Seen way to much happen.

I started out applauding many of the things the Dems were doing in Kalifornia, but over the years I also watched the results of what they had done and were doing and came to the opinion that it was creating a terrible situation.

And their still at it and they keep claiming it's for your own good.

IMHO if you like being treated that way then enjoy.

I didn't and don't so................

BUT when anyone tries to sell me what I see as a bunch of garbage and tell me it's candy or some kinda wonderful stuff I call em on it.

At least WE ALL still have the right to do so.

Although I'm wondering just how creative the politicians are going to get with the terrorist and patriot acts.

Those California boys tend to stick together Wrag. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
