sick dog help pls

hi all im new here cos my gf said someone here might help
im living on a cattle station in australia and my dad dont want to know anything about me cos i hate that he seels cows to be killed for meat as i am trying to become a vegitarian.
well i am at home on my own for a couple fo weeks as mum an dad are away on a trip and my dog has got sick. i cant get him to a vet cos the closest one is liek 500k away and there is only dads new bmw what im nnot allowed to drive my gf reckons somone here may be able to help cos if dad gets home and he is still sick he will just shoot him
hes stopped pooing for the last coupleof days and hes starting to look sick and he makes sort of groning noises when he sits up ahter lying down pls help cos i dont want dad to shoot him and i cant get to the vet pls cna someone help thx

i dont really know.. it sounds like kinda an emergancy.. you can break rules if its an emengency.. i would take him to the vet,
oh yea good job about going vegetarian.. if you were a big meat eater, than ull prolly have to take it slow.. thats prolly the best thing to do,
oh yea and.... dont let him SHOOT the dog please..

Do you have a friend who can drive you? Maybe you could take a taxi?
You need to get your dog to the vet or at least phone the vet for advice, they may be something you can do at home to help him.

thx for your replies a taxi isnt going to be an good we live about 3.5 hores drive from the closest town and the station hands hate me cos they say its gonna be my fault the place will be sold when they die cos i dont hav any brothers and sisters to take over for them but theres this one jackaroo whos ok an he said hell bring me some stuff they use when their animals get constipated. my gf came over this morning with some cooking oil and she said thay her uncle said to try putting alittle oil in his bytt that might help a bit so i found this syringe in the supply cubord and i put some up ther. anyway he didnt liek it much and he bit me its not bad an i nkow he only did it cos hes sick so thats ok. anyway i guess shoulda put a towel or something down as while im washing my hand i hear duke go wrooooooo and this sound liek a sloppy fatr and then my gf laughin so i run out and the oil is sprayed all up the curtans and its smelly and stuff so now i gotta wash them before mum and dad get home i was so cross at sharon cos shes rolling on the floor laughin so hard cryin and stuff. anyway it didnt help much and hes still crook so ill wait for jacko to get back this arvo with the stuff he asid would help thx for all ur help guys ill let you know what happens thx:)

yeah we called him today just after i posted an he said to try the laksative? i dunno how thats spelt and that the oil was a good idea i prolly used too much he also said if the stuff doesnt work and he stops drinking to try to get in there we do have a vet who flys in to check the stock but hes not gonna be back this way for a few weeks so well see how it goes tonite an if thats no good i'll just take dads car i know where he hid the keys an if we go early well be back by night thx

ok jacko just dropped in the stuff. its called laxative! doh i feel so dumb anyway its by a mob called durvet and its a mineral oil but its supposed to be put in their food or squirted directly in the mouth or thats what it says on the bottle anyway.it saya 1-4tbsp according to size for dogs, i guess thats the big ones i use for brekky then and since hes kind of big but not huge ill only give him 3. ill have to find a new syringe since i dont want to use the one i stuck uip his bum *yuk* since he's not eating so good now and if hes still no better ion ht emorning me and my gf willtake him in rral early tomorrow mornig in dads car cos i cant let him get worse and ill tell dad when they come back cos hell freak if i try to explain to him befor we go.
sharon is going toget here liek 5 in the morning so we can go wearly wich isnt too bad we recon, her folks live an work on the next property over and shes only like 70k away cos were real close by and well take out bikes out and stash them so the station hands will think weve just gone out riding for the day and well be back after they gone back to the cabins so noone willkno

sorry ive been a long time but things arnet so good for me rite now. duke my dog is fine now but he was not sogood this morning when sharon my gf came over he was wining a lot and his belly was kinda hard to touch and it hurt him when i did so we decied to take him in to town. we stashed our bikes liek we planned and carefully carried him to the car. i put a rug on the seat we were putting him on sinse its only got 2 dorrs and sharon got in the back to pat his head and keep him calm and we left for town anyway things were going well until we got about 2 hores down the road duke started to get upset sqirmimg an stuff and then he sneezed. well it was kinday watery and it went on the seat but i thought it should clean ok and if that was all it wold have been fine but a little wile later he did it again. this time a hard bit of poo come out about as big as a tenis ball but like in half that kind of bounced off the radio panil and hit me in the face which was bad enougf but then alm,ost as soon as this come out a big lot of runny stinky poo sqirted out and i mean it was bad liek it went on forever! it was liek when the nozle come off the hose
I hit the brakes and kinda turned as well and dads car slides off the track and into some bushes an stops duke is kicking and yelping and sharons screaming F! F! F! then we all sort of stop. then sharon spews and screams get out get out get out and hitting the seat and stuff so I jump out and forget to pull the seat back now shes going nuts and duke bolts out the door hitting me and knoking me over sharon has sqeezed out from the back seat covered in spew and poo and she's swearing at me hitting me. duke is still runnning around and doing runny poos everywhere but hes not yelping anymor so i guess that was goodbut now we stop and look at dads car and we go oh sht.hes liek only boght it 2 months ago and now its got poo all over the radio stuff and the controls for the air the bits were the air comes out in the middle have poo in them its on the front window and on the capret and in the slots were the stcik that changs gear is is all full of poo and there is spew all over the back seat and the carpet in the back. dad is so gonna kill me when he see it but we still got to get it back now. so now i get the cloth that i put down befor and start wiping. funny how it got hardly enyhing in on it but eventually we get all the really bad stuff off an try to soke up the worst of the spew and wip it up as well. the car stared ok and we got it out of the bush and its ok just a little scrached but not as bad as inside
man m so dead. anyway just as we get duke back into the car hes in back now as he can sit up again now we hear this noise and sharon goes oh **** is my dad! we look up and we he his musterng chopper coming in fast. man he must be pissed off to bring it out after us anyway he lands and i thort he was gonna kill me rite there he didnt even say one thing to me, just looked, he says to sharon, in and she goes and geting in and then he takes the keys and gets on the radio for a bit. he chucks me a water botle and says wait thats all just wait and takes off and goes. so im sitting there with dads car wating and after ages jacko comes with the tilt truck. he takes one look at me, and the car and starts laughing and says oh man ur so f'ed why did you take the car fior it's only a dog for f's sake! I so hate him for that it's only an fluff'n dog waht iof if was his horse of somethihg ut anyway he put it on and tokk us home. now dad knows and they are coming hiome early donny found our bikes and sussed waht we done and called him mum had to talk him out of calling the cops donny rang sharons dad too and he come looking. sharon gettin sent to her cousins place in brissy now and dad reckons i gotta stay and work riding the fenses until i pay him back for fixing the car what sucks cos i don wanna stay here anymore i hate it and everythign that they do here. anyway duke is fine hes eating and everything now, but i bet dad still gets rid of him
anyway i'll prolly be gone for a while and thx evryone for being here for me to talk to. ill still try to be vegitarian and at least if im out on the fense i get to pick what i eat
