It's been a while, hasn't it, folks?

Had a bit of good news come through the pipe on Friday. Got word from my flight instructor that I'm ready to solo. I still have to get the dual hours in to meet FAA standards but I've demonstrated the skill needed to start soloing. I"M hoping to be fully certified as a private pilot by the end of March...at least that's the goal.

Another fixed-winger to add to the books, it seems. :D

It's all about airspeed control.   Yoke push makes you go faster, yoke pull makes you go slower.
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
