Breaking The Seige, Frame 2 Reminders
« on: January 23, 2008, 12:49:47 AM »
Ladies and Gents,

To clear things up and save myself the 5 hours it took to score this frame, I'll rehash the issues that did emerge in the logs...

1)  GV'S ONLY GET ONE (1) LIFE IN GV'S.  IF YOU TOWER OUT, YOUR GV LIFE IS OVER.  THIS INCLUDES M-3'S CARRYING SUPPLIES.  IF YOU ARE KILLED, YOU CANNOT UP ANOTHER GV.  YOUR SECOND LIFE IS IN YOUR ASSIGNED AIRCRAFT.

2)  IL2 AND BF110 PILOTS ARE THE ONLY ATTACK AIRCRAFT THAT GET A SECOND LIFE AFTER T+45.  FW190 F8 AND YAK 9T PILOTS ARE IN THAT AIRCRAFT FOR THE ENTIRE FRAME, AND YOU ONLY GET ONE LIFE IN THAT PLANE.  ANY ATTACK AIRCRAFT THAT DITCHES, CRASHES, OR IS SHOT DOWN IS DEAD, AND THE PILOT CANNOT REUP ANOTHER AIRCRAFT.

3)  YOU CAN ONLY REARM AT THE FOUR (4) DESIGNATED AIRFIELDS FOR YOUR SIDE.  YOU CANNOT REARM ANYWHERE ELSE.  PERIOD.  IF YOU ARE A RUSSIAN PILOT, FOR EXAMPLE, AND YOU BEGIN THE FRAME AT A25, YOU MAY REARM AT A22.

4)  ONLY THOSE PILOTS THAT ARE ASSIGNED THE IL2 AND BF110 AS CLOSE AIR SUPPORT MAY TOWER OUT (AFTER A SAFE LANDING) AND REUP THEIR ASSIGNED FIGHTER AFTER T+45.  NO OTHER AIRCRAFT MAY TOWER OUT MID-FRAME AND REUP...THIS INCLUDES THOSE 190F8'S AND YAK 9T'S ASSIGNED TO CLOSE AIR SUPPORT.

5)  IF YOU START IN A FIGHTER, YOU END THE FRAME IN THAT SAME FIGHTER, AND YOU ONLY GET ONE LIFE.

Sorry, it was late and I placed some confusing language into reminder #2...

It should read:

IL2 AND BF110 PILOTS ARE THE ONLY ATTACK AIRCRAFT THAT GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO FLY A DIFFERENT AIRCRAFT AFTER T+45.

You don't get a second life, but if you land your IL-2 or BF110 safely at the conclusion of the GV fight, you are allowed to up an assigned fighter.
