Havent been playing for a while and have come back recently. I notice the Hellcat model is unchanged (the new F4u models are very nice).   Anyone know when the Kitty is scheduled for a face-lift ? , she's looking a little tired.

The flight model feels pretty good , dunno whether anything has changed in that regard , but it seems to fly pretty well against some of the tradionally better turners.

Agreed on the Hellcat needing a facelift, but HTC doesn't tell us the schedule or if there even is one.  They just announced the P-39Q today and most of us didn't suspect that was in the works.

My top choices for the next facelift would, in alphabetic order, be:

F6F-5 Hellcat
La-5FN/La-7
N1K2-J

I think most other non-upgraded aircraft have aged better.

The Niki looks fine IMO. It doesnt look great like the new models, but eh cockpits of the Yakovlevs and Lavochkins are flat out eyesores.

No I didn't.  The Yak looks much better than many of the old airacraft.  Same with the A6Ms, Bf110s, Hurricanes, P-40s and Mossie.

As to the N1K2-J, it is one of the last v1.0 models left.  The B-26, C.205 and C-47 are the other v1.0 models.

The La-5FN was slightly upgraded latter in AH1, but it is ugly.  I think the N1K2 and F6F-5 take the cake for ugliest though.
