It would be interesting to find out more on the exact plane he flew, and skin it for Aces High.

The thing is he was never in the same plane twice he would go from plane to plane, and he was never in any famous planes so that makes it even harder to try and find something.

Yea, that is true, my sister's Grand Father flew P-51D's and flew 3 different models of them. There actually is a pretty famous painting of when he got wounded (got his arm nearly halved by 20mm flack by flying low to look at a horse drawn wagon to make sure he wasn't strafing civilians). The only time I was ever at my sister's Dads house was a long time ago, but it does show when he got wounded.

Where palm and pandanus shall whisper forever,

My wife and her whole family are big time holy roller pentecostals and always bug the hell out of me to go to church.    I tried it a few times but just can't get into it.      I chose Heretic just to pizz off my wife and mother in law.

That's funny. :rofl  When I was in college, the Jehovah's Witnesses would come around the dorm and make everybody generally uncomfortable. When they asked me what faith I was, I told them I was a "Reformed Druid", and that we worshiped lettuce and light bulbs. Man, they couldn't wait to get away from me. :D
